I've replaced many of the mainstream movies with official iTunes codes from the for sale thread, but like I stated above, iTunes codes aren't available for everything and I'm not paying full price again for every movie I want a digital copy of, when in some cases I've purchased a title on VHS, LaserDisk, DVD & BLU - the studios get enough of my money. Since I was able to open up two MakeMKV windows, I guessed I could rip multiple discs at a time with multiple drives. MakeMKV was getting errors that the software author claimed could only be the. I didnt knew if i needed encrypted or non-encrypted firmware. Addendum: I began having trouble transcoding Blu-rays the last couple of years. It will automatically detect DVD or Blu-ray and show it if they already exist in the DVD drive. I believe most normal blue-ray drives can rip 4k discs if you flash the custom firmware on it. ![]() In order to speed up the progress I added a second BluRay drive. I just bought a LG BH16NS55 and flashed it using the tools and firmware available on the makemkv website.
